MATCH PREVIEW

Junior Lone Star FC (0-2-0) will enter tomorrow’s contest hoping to kick-start their league campaign after two disappointing losses have seen them rooted at the bottom of the Keystone Conference table. The Stars began the season with 1-0 loss away to 10-man Greater Binghamton FC on Opening Day before losing their Home Opener 0-4 against Clarkstown SC Eagles last Saturday.

The Stars have been finding it difficult to find the back of the net and it wasn't a surprise that they recalled the club's top scorer from last season, forward Isaac "King Zikee" Jardiah who is referred to as Didier Drogba by his opponents.  The forward's sheer size and technical abilities in front of goal will be much needed but it seems he might not be involved yet as he's still serving a club suspension. The Stars also signed the Ivorian forward Aboubakar Coulibaly who has been on trial with the club and was impressive in the just-ended Battle of the East Soccer Tournament.

The BuxMont Torch (0-1-1) enters tomorrow's contest after playing in an exciting and heart-breaking 1-1 tie against the visiting FC Reading Revolution in mid-week. The Torch who led via Tyler Bullock's 23rd minute goal thought they have won their home opener only to concede an injury time goal from FC Reading Revolution's Derek Long to tie the match.

The Torch had previously lost 1-0 away to newcomers Hershey FC Panthers in Match Day of the 2013 NPSL Keystone Conference. The Torch presently sits at sixth place on the table.
